Present: Board Members L.ee, Haynes and Underwood
Absent: None
2. PUBLIC STATEMENTS
No speaker cards were presented.
3. CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Consent Calendar Non - Public Hearing Items:
1. Minutes of the regular meeting held January 12, 2010.
Motion by Underwood to approve non-public hearing items.
B. Public Hearing Items:
1. File No. 09 -0298 - Approval of a conditional use permit to
operate a transitional residential facility for 14 homeless and
low- income persons in C -1 (Neighborhood Commercial) and R-
3 (Multiple - Family Dwelling) zone districts located at 721 and
7258 th Street.
2. File No. 09 -0872 - Approval of a conditional use permit for
outdoor food preparation and a zoning modification for a 940
square foot retail building addition abutting residentially zoned
property with no side yard setback, where the minimum
required setback is 20 feet, in a C -1 (Neighborhood
Commercial) zone district located at 1631 Beale Avenue.

Lee recused himself from public hearing item 3.13.2 since he was the hearing
Dfficer who presided over the code enforcement hearing for the subject
property.
