ROLL CALL Present: Board Members Barnhard, Burns, Underwood Absent: 2. PUBLIC STATEMENTS None 3. CONSENT CALENDAR A. Consent Calendar Non - Public Hearing Items: 1. Minutes of the regular meeting held November 9, 2010. Motion by Burns to approve the non - public hearing item. APPROVED B. Public Hearing Items: 1. File No. 10 -0540- Approval of a conditional use permit to RES 10 -39 construct a parking lot for an existing church and a zoning modification to waive the requirement to construct a six -foot tall masonry wall adjacent to residentially zoned property in an R -3 (Multiple - Family Dwelling) zone district located at 819 Eye Street. 2. File No. 10 -0546 - Approval of a conditional use permit to I RES 10 -40 operate a recycling center for the purchasing of California Redemption Value (CRV) containers from the public in a C -2 (Regional Commercial) zone district located at 2601 White Lane. 3. File No. 10 -0547 - Approval of a conditional use permit to RES 10-41 construct a 3,891 square foot drive - through restaurant in a C -1 (Neighborhood Commercial) zone district located BZA Minutes December 14, 2010 Page 2 REGULAR MEETING at 1607 Panama Lane. 4. File No. 10 -0548 - Approval of a conditional use permit to construct a 1,000 square foot addition to a warehouse building and a zoning modification to reduce the required front yard setback from 10 to 0 feet in C -O (Professional and Administrative Office) and C -1 (Neighborhood Commercial) zone districts located at 1520 11 th Street. 5. File No. 10 -0552 - Approval of a conditional use permit to construct a chapel /office /reception building and three mausoleums totaling 17,183 square feet at an existing cemetery in an R -1 (One Family Dwelling) zone district located at 2739 Panama Lane. 6. File No. 10 -0553 - Approval of a conditional use permit to construct two autobody repair shop buildings totaling 23,650 square feet and a zoning modification to reduce the front yard and street side yard setbacks from 10 to 2 feet for both buildings in a C -2 (Regional Commercial) zone district located at 2429 Chester Avenue and 2420 Eye Street. The public hearing was opened. Pursuant to a memo from staff dated December 9, 2010, item 3.B.6. was requested by the applicant to be continued to January 11, 2011. The public hearing was closed, with the exception of item 3.B.6. Motion by Underwood to continue item 3.B.6. to January 11, 2011, and to approve items 3.B.1. through 3.B.5. 4. COMMUNICATIONS None 5.
