3. CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Consent Calendar Non - Public Hearing Items:
1. Minutes of the regular meeting held January 11, 2011.
2. Minutes of the regular meeting held February 8, 2011.
Motion by Member Barnhard to approve the non - public hearing items.
Member Barnhard abstained from voting on item 3.A.2. since she was
not present at that meeting.
B. Public Hearing Items:
File No. 11 -0050 - Approval of a conditional use permit to
construct a 9,950 square foot medical clinic in an A
(Agricultural) zone district located at 9001 S. H Street.
2. File No. 11 -0061 - Approval of a conditional use permit to
construct two 5,000 square foot church buildings and a
1,400 square foot caretaker's residence in an A -20A
(Agricultural 20 -Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone district
located at 5543 Buena Vista Road.

3. File No. 11 -0079 - Remove from the agenda a conditional
use permit to construct eight unlighted tennis courts on
the Garces Memorial High School campus in an R -1 (One -
Family Dwelling) zone district located at 2800 Loma Linda
Drive.
The public hearing was opened. Pursuant to a memo from staff dated
March 7, 2011, item 3.B.1. was requested by the applicant to be
continued to the March 16, 2011 special meeting.
The public hearing was closed, with the exception of item 3.B.1.
Motion by Member Underwood to continue item 3.B.1. to March 16,
2011, approve item 3.B.2., and remove item 3.B.3. from the agenda.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. File No. 11 -0036 - Conditicnal use permit to add a 35 -inch
diameter dish antenna to an existing 80 -foot tall slim -line
monopole; the proposed antenna would project 31 inches
from the pole where the maximum allowable projection is 18
inches. The project site is in a C -2 (Regional Commercial) zone
district located at 8200 Stock:dale Highway.
Board discussion from the February, 8, 2011 meeting continued.
At the request of the Board, Gary Glochberg, Applicant, discussed the
proposal to reduce the antenna's projection from the pole from 39 to
31 inches.
Motion by Member Fick to deny public hearing item 4.1.
