For Immediate Release October 6, 2011
The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for
armed robbery.
On 9/30/11, at about 2:10 p.m., the suspects depicted in the attached video surveillance photos entered the Gold
Buyers of Bakersfield, 4040 Ming Avenue and robbed the business at gunpoint.
The suspects are described as follows:
Black male in his early 30's, 6'2" tall, 200 pounds, having a dark complexion, medium build and a black goatee,
wearing a black beret, sunglasses, red long sleeved shirt with black vertical pin stripes and dark blue or black jeans,
and a
Black male, 19-22 years old, 5' tall, 150 pounds, having a dark complexion and slim build, wearing a black athletic
baseball cap, dark blue and white plaid shirt and dark blue jean shorts and dark colored shoes.
Anyone with information regarding this crime or the identity of either suspect is urged to call Detective Brent Stratton
at 326-3546.
