HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 117-11RESOLUTION NO. 1 1 7 A RESOLUTION DECLARING REAL PROPERTY SURPLUS TO THE NEEDS OF THE CITY AND AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE ITS SALE WHEREAS, the City owns a fee simple interest in property located at 700 Planz Road; and, WHEREAS, Jose Ramon Carillo has requested the City sell this property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto to facilitate their development. WHEREAS, the Bakersfield Planning Department found the sale of this property to be consistent with the Metropolitan Bakersfield 2010 General Plan pursuant to Government Code Section 65402. WHEREAS, Bakersfield Municipal Code 3.20.125 authorizes the negotiated sale of City property deemed to be "surplus". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: 1. The foregoing findings and recitals are true, correct, and incorporated herein. 2.
