A RESOLUTION DECLARING REAL PROPERTY
SURPLUS TO THE NEEDS OF THE CITY AND
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
NEGOTIATE ITS SALE
WHEREAS, the City owns a fee simple interest in property located at 700
Planz Road; and,
WHEREAS, Jose Ramon Carillo has requested the City sell this property
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto to facilitate their development.
WHEREAS, the Bakersfield Planning Department found the sale of this
property to be consistent with the Metropolitan Bakersfield 2010 General Plan
pursuant to Government Code Section 65402.
WHEREAS, Bakersfield Municipal Code 3.20.125 authorizes the negotiated
sale of City property deemed to be "surplus".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The foregoing findings and recitals are true, correct, and
incorporated herein.
2. Real Property located at 700 Planz Road, Bakersfield, California is
hereby declared surplus to the City's needs and the Finance Director is
authorized to negotiate its sale.

the following described real property in the state of California, county of Kern
That portion of the southeast quarter of section 7, Township 30
South, Range 28 East, Mount Diablo meridian, according to the official
plat of the survey of said land on file in the bureau of Land Manage-
ment, described as follows%
Beginnina at the intersection of the northerly line of Planz Road,
60 feet Ade and the southwesterly line of South Chester Avenue,
110 feet wide; thence North 28 221 West along the southwesterly
line of said South Chester Avenue 125.00 bet; thence South 81° 571
31" West, 159.96 feet; thence South 28° 221 East, 100.00 feet to
a point in the northerly line of said Planz Road; thence North 89°
521 23" East along the northerly line of said Planz Road 170.27
feet to the point of beginning;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM all oil, gas, minerals and other hydrocarbon
substances within or underlying said land.
