The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for theft and credit card fraud.
On 9/2/11, the victim inadvertently left her wallet behind at a store along the Rosedale
Shopping corridor. That same day, the woman depicted in the attached video
surveillance photo attempted to purchase pre-paid cellular cards using the victim’s
credit card at Target on Rosedale Highway. The suspect appears to be a Hispanic or
Asian female wearing a blue one piece shorts/halter top outfit, black bolero style jacket
and sunglasses. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is
encouraged to call Detective Watts at 326-2543.
