The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance identifying a suspect wanted for robbery
and credit card fraud.
On 10/24/11, at about 9:15 p.m., the suspect depicted in the attached ATM surveillance photo approached the victim
in the Target parking lot, 9100 Rosedale Highway, took her purse from her arm and ran. The victim’s credit card was
used at a local ATM within thirty minutes of the theft. The suspect was described by the victim and witnesses as a
Black male, early 20’s, 5’9”-6’2”tall, average build, having acne scars on his face and wearing a black hooded
sweatshirt and green shorts.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call Detective Dave Cox at 326-3511.
