The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for theft of a bicycle.
On 10/25/11, at about 10:00 p.m., the victim left his bike inside the Fastrip, 804 34th
Street near the cash register, while he shopped. The suspect, depicted in the attached
video surveillance photo, took the bike and rode away with it.
The suspect appears to be a Black male in his teens with braids in his hair.
The bicycle is a black with red lettering TREK Brand Street racing bike.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect or the location of the bike
is encouraged to call Detective Scott Miller at 326-3947.
