The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance in identifying a suspect/s
wanted for two counts of attempted kidnap.
On 12/11/11, at about 8:30 a.m., a 17 year old female was walking in the area of 10th Street and Chester
Avenue when she was approached by a Hispanic male who grabbed her by the arm and began pulling
her with him. The girl struggled and got away. She described the man as a dark complexioned Hispanic
in his thirties, 5’5” tall, 150 pounds, having black medium length hair and a long nose pointed downward,
wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, royal blue under shirt and black Levis, driving a white older model
Oldsmobile four door with white plastic consistent with a kitchen garbage bags taped over the
rear window with black tape.
On 12/12/11, at about 8:30 p.m., a 13 year old girl, who was walking with friends in the area of 10th and M
Streets, was approached by a Hispanic male who grabbed her by the arm and pulled her along with him.
She also struggled to get away. She described the suspect as a Hispanic male, twenties, tattoo of
“Jesse” on the right side of his neck, 5’4” tall, medium build, clean shaven with black hair wearing a blue
hat with a white “W” on it and a black hooded sweatshirt.
Attached are computer generated composites for the suspects in each of these cases.
