HomeMy WebLinkAbout2011_12_18_3450 Grassotti Court BAKERSFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 18, 2011 On December 17, 2011, at 8:41 PM, Officers of the Bakersfield Police Department were dispatched to the apartment complex at 3450 Grassotti Court regarding a victim of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female suffering from stab wounds. The 24-year-old victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Her injuries are non-life threatening and she is currently listed in stable condition. Investigation revealed the victim was involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend and father of their two daughters, Albert Cuen. During the dispute, Albert Cuen, age 35, of Bakersfield, stabbed the victim in her shoulder and neck with a knife. Albert Cuen fled the apartment and was last seen walking westbound on Grassotti Court with one of their daughters, Aaliyah Cuen, age 4. The investigation is continuing and all attempts are being made to locate Albert Cuen and Aaliyah Cuen. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 Sunday, December 18, 2011 UPDATED During the evening hours of December 17, 2011 Bakersfield Police Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 3450 Grassotti Court. At approximately 4:07 AM on December 18, 2011, while conducting follow-up investigation, Bakersfield Police Officers located and arrested Albert Cuen at the Greyhound Bus Terminal, 1820 18th Street. He was subsequently booked into the Kern County Jail for Attempt Murder and Spousal Abuse. Cuen’s four-year-old daughter, who was listed in a Critical Reach, was located, unharmed, at the bus terminal and was reunited with family members.
