The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for petty theft, burglary, unauthorized use of an access
card and identity theft.
On 11/3/11, two victims had their wallets stolen while shopping at Trader Joes, 8200
Stockdale Highway and Michaels on Ming Avenue. Within hours, the woman depicted
in the attached video surveillance photo used the victims credit/debit cards to make
purchases at Target, CVS, and a cash withdrawal at a local Bank of America while
using identification matching the cards.
She appears to be a Black female in her 40s-50’s, having heavy build, glasses and
short hair pulled in a ponytail.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this woman is encouraged to call
Detective T. Brown at 326-3861.
