The Bakersfield Police department is asking for the communities’ assistance in identifying a
suspect wanted for vandalism.
On 12/28/11, at about 11:00 a.m., witnesses observed a Hispanic male suspect, 20-30 years
old, 5’7”-5’8” tall, 200 pounds, dark moustache or goatee, wearing a black baseball cap,
black jacket and black pants, use an unknown type tools to vandalize an Advanced Beverage
“Monster” energy drink promotional van, which was parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot, 6225
Colony Street.
The suspect then entered a vehicle, which is depicted in the attached video surveillance photos,
and left the area. Witnesses described the vehicle as a beat up white extended cab pickup
with primer on the doors and hood, with a wide black horizontal stripe on the tailgate and
the word “Chevrolet” possibly in gold.
Anyone with information regarding this crime or the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call
