Upon arrival officers located Daniel Turner (31), of Bakersfield, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Turner was transported to Kern Medical Center with non- life threatening injuries. Investigation revealed that suspect #1went to the door and asked for the victim by name. The victim exited the apartment and became involved in a fight with both suspect #1 and suspect #2. During the fight the victim was stabbed multiple times. The suspects then fled to a waiting vehicle which was last seen going south on Isla Verde Street. The suspects were described as: 1) Hispanic male, 30’s, heavy build, bald, wearing dark clothing, 2) White or Hispanic male, thin build, wearing a red baseball cap, unknown clothing, some type of tattoo on forehead. The suspect vehicle was described as a: Light colored SUV type vehicle. The investigation is continuing. It is unknown at this time whether or not the incident is gang related.
