The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for robbery.
On Thursday, January 12, 2012, at about 6:10 p.m., the suspect depicted in the
attached video surveillance photos, committed a robbery at the Well Fargo Bank,
located inside Vons grocery store, 4500 Coffee Road. The suspect approached the
teller at the bank counter and used a note to demand money. The suspect fled with an
undetermined amount of currency.
He was described by witnesses as a Caucasian male 30’s, 5’10” tall, medium build with
dark colored hair and beard, wearing a blue button up, long sleeve checkered shirt, blue
jeans, and silver framed eye glasses.
Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Scott Hughes at 326-3501.
