January 19, 2012
On Monday, January 16th at about 5:15am, Bakersfield Police Officers responded to a residence
in the 1900 block of Baker Street regarding a burglary which just occurred. When officers
arrived they located an elderly female who was the victim of a homicide.
While Officers were investigating this offense, they discovered an additional burglary to a
residence in the same neighborhood. Officers located and arrested David Webster 31, of
Bakersfield. The investigation revealed Webster was responsible for both burglaries as well as
the homicide. He was arrested for multiple charges relating to both crimes.
