The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance in identifying a suspect
wanted for theft. On 12/1/11, the victim inadvertently left her wallet on the counter at the floral counter
inside the Albertsons on Mt. Vernon Avenue. Within seconds, the suspect depicted in the attached
surveillance video, walked up to the counter and concealed the wallet under her hands while she asked
the employee a question, then walked away with it.
The suspect appears to be a dark complexioned female, 40-50 years old, with short brown hair, wearing a
pink shirt and brown hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to call Detective Todd Farnsworth
at 326-3553.
