The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance identifying
a suspect wanted for burglary and fraud. On 10/17/11, the suspect depicted in the
attached video surveillance used counterfeit identification in the victim’s name to
withdraw money from his account at Wells Fargo Bank, 1300 22nd Street. The suspect
appears to be a Caucasian male 50-60, having a thin build, greying hair and a beard
and wearing glasses. The victim, who resides in Southern California, reported
additional withdrawals at Wells Fargo Bank, 8200 Stockdale Highway and a bank in
Fresno California.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is encouraged to call
Detective Watts at 326-3543.
