For Immediate Release January 24, 2012
On Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 8:01 a.m., the Bakersfield Police Department
responded to a call of a major injury collision at White Lane and Akers Road.
The investigation revealed that Demarcus Givan 34 was driving eastbound on White
Lane when he collided with Tommy Fulce 72 who was driving northbound on Akers
Road. Givan’s passenger, a 33 year old male suffered moderate injuries. Fulce’s
passenger, a 70 year old female suffered serious injuries and she subsequently died on
Monday, January 23, 2012.
The investigation is continuing.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have information regarding
