The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance identifying
two suspects for carjacking, kidnapping and auto theft. On 1/1/12, the victim reported
he was carjacked on 12/30/11, in the area of Bernard Street and Fashion Place by two
Hispanic male suspects who drove him to the Los Angeles and San Bernardino areas
where they kept him for two days. During his captivity the victim said the suspects
appeared to be using the vehicle to conduct narcotics transactions. The victim’s vehicle
was recovered in the San Bernardino area. Below are computer generated composites
of the two suspects as the victim has described them.
Anyone with information regarding this crime or the identity of either suspect is
encouraged to call Detective David Cox at 326-3514.
