On 11/1/11, the man depicted in the attached surveillance photo, entered the JC Penney store and used a fraudulent credit card to purchase clothing and gift cards. The card was obtained as a result of an identity theft that occurred in Murietta CA. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call Detective Mitch Galland at 326-3858. You can now send an anonymous text message to the Bakersfield Police Department. It’s quick and it’s easy. Simply enter 274637 into your phone and text BPDCRIMES along with your message. The text is sent to the police department and the sender remains completely anonymous.
