While at the location, five suspects arrived and held the victim against his will. He was tied up, gagged and assaulted by the suspects who threatened to kill him. The victim was eventually let go by a female suspect after the male suspects left the apartment. The victim responded to a local hospital to seek treatment for his injuries and contacted police. Four suspects have been arrested for the offense. Two additional suspects are still outstanding. They have been identified as Felix Robert Martin HM 34 years old 5’6”, 180 pounds and Julio Cesar Ramirez HM 25 6’0”, 240 pounds. Felony warrants have been issued for their arrest charging attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, torture, false imprisonment, and conspiracy. Original Release September 28, 2011 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance locating a suspect wanted for attempted murder, kidnapping, torture, false imprisonment and conspiracy. Julio Cesar Ramirez 25, 5’6” tall, 240lbs, who possibly resides in the Arvin area and may be driving a blue Dodge truck. On 9/8/11, the 36 year old male victim was visiting a friend, identified as Micella Mendoza, in the 200 block of Truxtun Avenue. During the visit, six male suspects, some armed with guns, entered the residence and restrained the victim with duct tape then proceeded to torture him for several hours. When the victim was released he sought treatment at a local hospital and the police were called. Investigation revealed Micella Mendoza was involved in the planning of the attack and she and two others have already been arrested. Still outstanding are several Hispanic males ages 18-30 including Julio Cesar Ramirez. Arrested in this case, thus far, have been Micella Mendoza 31, Frankie Mendoza 29, and Delia Torres 29, all for attempted murder, kidnapping, torture, false imprisonment and conspiracy. Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Ramirez or the other suspects involved is urged to call Detective Mike Coronado at 326-3857.
