For Immediate Release February 2, 2012
The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for
multiple robberies. On 2/1/12, at about 6:45 p.m., the suspect depicted in the attached video surveillance photo
entered the customer service department at Wal-Mart, 8400 Rosedale Highway and handed the cashier a note
demanding money. This same suspect is believed to be responsible for a robbery at Wells Fargo, 4500 Coffee Road
on 1/12/12, another Wal-Mart Robbery in Paso Robles on 1/31/12 (both photos attached) and similar robberies in
Tracey and Gilroy California.
The suspect appears to be a Caucasian male in his thirties, 5’10”-6’0” tall, 180-200 pounds, consistently wearing a
black baseball cap with a white symbol. Anyone with information regarding this suspect is encouraged to call
Detective Jeff Saso at 326-3535.
