The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance identifying a suspect wanted
for attempt robbery. On 12/26/11, at about 1:20 p.m., the victim was withdrawing money from the Chase
Bank ATM, 3901 Ming Avenue when she was approached from behind by a Hispanic male who
demanded she give him the money. When she determined he was apparently not armed she ran to her
car and called police. The suspect was last seen walking west on Ming Avenue. He is described as 6'0”
tall, having a medium build and shaved buzzed hair wearing a navy blue hooded pullover sweatshirt, long
white t-shirt and jeans.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call Detective Todd
Farnsworth at 326-3553.
