At 6:44 p.m. officers of the Bakersfield Police Department responded to KMC
regarding two gunshot victims who had arrived for treatment. The victims, a 19 year old
female and her 3 year old daughter, were each being treated for a single, minor gunshot
wound. Officers were unable to locate any crime scene or witnesses in the area where the
shooting reportedly occurred. No calls of shootings were reported during the time of this
call. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the
