For Immediate Release February 8, 2011
The Secret Witness Program is offering a reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to
the arrest and filing of a criminal complaint against the person(s) responsible for murder of
Joseph Loverdee Foster.
On February 28th, 2010, Foster was found deceased inside his apartment at 1200 38th Street
and was determined to be a victim of a homicide.
The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking any information related to this crime.
Anyone in the community who has information regarding this incident is asked to call the police,
even if they believe the information is unimportant or was perhaps previously provided.
Anyone with information regarding this murder is asked to call Bakersfield Police at 661-327-
7111 or Detective Dennis Murphy at 661-326-3552. Anonymous and confidential information
can be provided through Secret Witness at 661-322-4040.
