The City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, designated by ordinances of said City as
Advisory Agency with respect to Parcel Map Waivers, Lot Line Adjustments, and Certificates of
Compliance and acting herein on behalf of the City of Bakersfield, hereby states that the real
property described and shown on Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made parts hereof, complies with
the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and Chapter 16 of the City of
Bakersfield Municipal Code regulating divisions of land. The above- mentioned real property is a
result of Lot Line Adjustment No. 04 -1022, being an adjustment of the boundaries of the following
parcels of land:
Parcel 2 of Parcel Map Waiver No. 9 -87 per Certificate of Compliance recorded
Septemberl 9,1988 in Book 6164, Page 695 and Parcel 1 of Parcel Map Waiver No.
P97 -0253 per Certificate of Compliance recorded April18, 1997 as Document No.
0197053022, both of Official Records on file in the Office of the Kern County
Recorder. Also being portions of the Southwest quarter of Section 30, Township 29
South, Range 28 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, City of Bakersfield, County
of Kern, State of California.

This Certificate of Compliance is being issued and recorded for 2 parcels.

Being an adjustment between those parcels of land described as Parcel 2 of Parcel Map Waiver
No. 9 -87 per the Certificate of Compliance recorded September 19, 1988 in Book 6164, Page 695
and Parcel 1 of Parcel Map Waiver No. P97 -0253 per the Certificate of Compliance recorded
April 18, 1997 as Document No. 0197053022, both of Official Records in the Office of the Kern
County Recorder, also being portions of the Southwest quarter of Section 30, Township 29 South,
Range 28 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of
California, being more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL `A'
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Truxtun Avenue (being 115.5 feet wide) and "N"
Street (being 82.5 feet wide); Thence, South 00 degrees 01 minute 42 seconds West, along the

feet to a point of intersection of the east right of way line of said "N" street with the south right of
