Attendees will be invited to participate in various scenarios in the role of a police officer and will be provided with a uniform, simulated handgun, baton and other equipment commonly used by police officers. Participants will then be tasked with working through each scenario from the perspective of a police officer. Participants’ lack of law enforcement experience will not be a factor. The forum will be held at the Kern County Library South West location, 8301 Ming Avenue at 5:30 p.m., and is expected to last about an hour. Seating is limited. Anyone interested in participating in the Community Forum please contact Senior Officer Andrea Pflugh, in the Bakersfield Police Department Planning, Training and Research Unit at 326- 3981 to reserve your seat.
