On 2/19/12, at about 10:00 p.m., Samuel Bryant was arrested leaving a local hospital.
He was arrested without incident and placed into juvenile hall for the aforementioned
warrant.
For Immediate Release February 16, 2012
On February 16, 2012, at 7:40pm officers of the Bakersfield Police Department were
dispatched to 3001 South Chester Avenue regarding a subject who had been shot. On
arrival officers located two victims with gunshot wounds who were transported to Kern
Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. Detectives were called to the scene to
take over the investigation. The detectives’ investigation has led to securing an arrest
warrant for attempted homicide for
Samuel Bryant, Black Male, 16, DOB 07-02-1995
3001 South Chester Ave.
5’7”, 140, Blk. Hair, Brn. Eyes.
The firearm in this investigation has not been recovered and Bryant is therefore
considered armed and dangerous.
