The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for credit
card fraud.
On 1/14/12, the victim’s vehicle was burglarized in the parking lot of Costco during which her purse and credit cards
were stolen. That same date, the suspect depicted in the attached video surveillance photo used one of the victim’s
credit cards to purchase a Kobalt socket set at Lowes, 7825 Rosedale Highway. Other purchases were also made at
Home Depot, 8799 Rosedale Highway.
The suspect appears to be a Hispanic male 30-40, with black hair, a mustache and goatee who was wearing a black
Under Armor hat and a blue shirt having a Chevron logo on the chest.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call Detective John Blunt at 326-3964.
