On 2/25/12, Nicholas Lamb 32, of the Fresno/Clovis area was arrested for robbery in Modesto Ca.
On Monday, 2/27/12, Bakersfield Police Detectives Jeff Saso and Scott Hughes traveled to Modesto to
interview Lamb regarding two similar robberies in Bakersfield and were able to determine Lamb was
responsible for two local robberies at Wells Fargo and Wal-Mart. Lamb was also connected to robberies
in Paso Robles, Gilroy, Tracey, Patterson, and Riverbank, California.

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance in identifying a suspect
wanted for multiple robberies. On 2/1/12, at about 6:45 p.m., the suspect depicted in the attached video
surveillance photo entered the customer service department at Wal-Mart, 8400 Rosedale Highway and
handed the cashier a note demanding money. This same suspect is believed to be responsible for a
robbery at Wells Fargo, 4500 Coffee Road on 1/12/12, another Wal-Mart Robbery in Paso Robles on
1/31/12 (both photos attached) and similar robberies in Tracey and Gilroy California.
The suspect appears to be a Caucasian male in his thirties, 5’10”-6’0” tall, 180-200 pounds, consistently
wearing a black baseball cap with a white symbol. Anyone with information regarding this suspect is
encouraged to call Detective Jeff Saso at 326-3535.
