For Immediate Release February 29, 2012
The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a
suspect wanted for assault with a deadly weapon.
On 2/5/12, the victim was involved in an argument with two Hispanic males near the 1600 block
of East 10th Street. The victim walked away from the men and when he reached the 1000 block
of Clyde, two Hispanic males in a black four door sedan drove north bound on Clyde toward
the victim and ran into him, causing serious injuries to his hand.
Attached is a computer generated composite of the driver of the suspect vehicle. He is
described as a thin Hispanic male.
The investigator is also asking for two unidentified witnesses, who were with the victim at the
time of the assault, to contact him at 326-3535.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is also encouraged to call
Detective Jeff Saso at 326-3535.
