The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for theft. Target-Rosedale loss prevention monitored a
female shopper, who they recognized from prior thefts, fill a cart with merchandise then
abandon it near the front door. The man in the attached video surveillance photo then
entered the store and pushed the cart outside where he was detained. The man ran to
a silver Honda Accord and fled. The woman, who has already been identified, drives a
black 2003 Audi A4. She denied knowing the suspect.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect encouraged to call
Detective Mike Golleher at 326-3964.
