MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF
February 14, 2012, 3:00 p.m.

REGULAR MEETING
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Board Members Bland, Fick, Underwood
A. Consent Calendar Non - Public Hearing Items:
1. Minutes of the regular meeting held January 10, 2012.
/lotion by Member Underwood to approve the non - public hearing
item.
B. Public Hearing Items:
1, File No. 11 -0476 - Approval of a zoning modification to
reduce the required side yard setback from 25 to 5 feet
along the eastern property boundary and to permit a 7-
foot tall wrought iron fence within the front yard setback
where the maximum permissible height is 4 feet to
accommodate the construction of 56 -unit apartment
complex in an R -2 (Limited Multiple - Family Dwelling) zone
district located at 500 W. Columbus Street.
2. File No. 12 -0025 - Approval of a conditional use permit to
develop a 23.3 -acre solar electric power generation
facility in M -1 (Light Manufacturing) and M -2 (General
Manufacturing) zone districts located at 7980 Allen Road.

3. File No. 12 -0028 - Approval of a conditional use permit to
install a crematory within an existing funeral home in an R-
3 (Multiple - Family Dwelling) zone district located at 620
Oregon Street.
The public hearing was opened. There were no comments from either
the public or board members.
The public hearing was closed.
Motion by Member Fick to approve the public hearing items with the
incorporation of the memorandum from Paul Hellman dated February
14, 2012 regarding File No. 12 -0025.
