At the request of the property owner, the undersigned City Engineer of the City of
Bakersfield, designated by ordinances of said City as Advisory Agency with respect to Parcel
Map Waivers, Lot Line Adjustments, Parcel Mergers and Certificates of Compliance and acting
herein on behalf of the City of Bakersfield, hereby states that those portions of land described
on the attached Exhibit "A" comply with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State
of California and Chapter 16 of the City of Bakersfield Municipal Code regulating divisions of
land.
This certificate relates only to issues of compliance or noncompliance with the
Subdivision Map Act and local ordinances enacted pursuant thereto. The parcels described
herein may be sold, leased, or financed without further compliance with the Subdivision Map Act
or any local ordinance enacted pursuant thereto. Development of the parcels may require
issuance of a permit or permits, or other grant or grants of approval.

All that portion of Parcel i of Parcel Map no. 9784 fled in Book 50 of Parcel Maps at
Pages 150 through 153 in the office of the Kern County Recorder, also being a portion of
the Southwest Quarter of Section 14 and the northwest Quarter of Section 23, both in
Township 29 South, Range 29 East, M.D.M., in the city of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Section 23;
Thence(l) forth 0700935" East along the west boundary line of said Parcel 1, a
distance of 25.32 feet;
Thence (2) south 45 000'00" East, a distance of 45.01 feet to the beginning of a
327,58 foot radius non - tangent curve concave northeasterly, from which
a radial line bears north 81 °30'33" East;
Thence (3) southeasterly along said curve, through a central angle of 29 000'58" an
arc distance of 165.47 feet;
Thence (4) South 00010'50" Nest, a distance of 22.07 feet: to a point on the south
boundary line of said Parcel 1;
Thence (5) north 89 049'10" west along said south boundary line to the southwest
corner of said Parcel 1, a distance of 102.25 feet;
Thence (6) North 00 105431" East along the Vilest boundary line of said Parcel 1, a
distance of 180.01' to the point of beginning.
