Chapter 16.38, the undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, acting herein on behalf
of the City of Bakersfield, states that those portions of land described above are hereby deemed
merged in accordance with provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and
Chapter 16 of the City of Bakersfield Municipal Code. The resulting merged parcel is described
on the attached Exhibit "A" and shown on the attached Exhibit "B ".
This certificate relates only to issues of compliance or noncompliance with the Subdivision Map
Act and local ordinances enacted pursuant thereto. The parcel described herein may be sold,
leased, or financed without further compliance with the Subdivision Map Act or any local
ordinance enacted pursuant thereto. Development of the parcel may require issuance of a
permit or permits, or other grant or grants of approval.

Being a merger of all the land of Lots 10 and 11 of Tract No. 5698, recorded
December 6, 1996 in Book 42 of Maps at Page 174 in the Office of the Kern
County Recorder, being a portion of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 22, T 30S.,
R.27E M. D. B & M. in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California.
1. Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 9 of said Tract No. 5698, thence
Northerly through a central angle of 54035'21" having a radius of 115 feet
an arc distance of 109.57 feet to a tangent curve concave Northwesterly,
having a radius of 300 feet;
2. Thence Northwesterly through a central angle of 07040'43" concave
Northeasterly, an arc distance of 40.20 feet to the Southwest corner of
said Lot 12 of said Tract No. 5698, radius point bears N63 °37'29 "E.
3. Thence N83 °19'21 "E a distance of 228.31' along the South line of said Lot
12 of said Tract 5698 to the Southeast corner of said Lot 12 of said Tract

DEED OF TRUST CONSENT
The undersigned is the legal holder of a Promissory Note secured
by a Deed of Trust dated April 5, 2002 on Lots10 and 11 of Tract
5698 in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of
California as per Map recorded December 6, 1996 in Book 42,
Page 174 of Maps of said County. (More particularly described in
legal description marked exhibit "ONE" attached hereto)
executed by Richard Moreno and Christy Moreno, husband and
wife. Said Deed of Trust was recorded on April 11, 2002 as
Documents # 0202056917 in Kern County,
WHEREAS Richard Moreno and Christy Moreno desire to combine
the two lots into one for purposes of constructing an additional
building. This will necessitate obtaining a lot line adjustment and
such other documents as required.
The undersigned consents to these changes in the legal
description of this property.
