ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.28.040 OF THE
BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO DUTIES OF
THE PLANNING COMMISSION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 2.28.040 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
2.28.040 Planning commission — Selection of chairman — Duties.
A. The commission shall elect its chairman among its appointed
members for a term of one year and, subject to other provisions of law, may
create and fill other offices as it may determine.
B. It shall adopt rules for transaction of business and shall keep a record of
the resolutions, transactions, findings, and determinations, which record shall be
a public record.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the provisions of the
Bakersfield Municipal Code and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and
after the date of its passage.
