The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for annoying children.
On 5/8/12, at about 4:40 p.m., a Hispanic male 45-50 years old with grey hair and a
mustache driving a white older model Toyota with a black stripe on the side,
stopped in front of a residence on Quincy Street where children were playing in the
yard. The man tried to coax a seven year old boy to the car but his grandmother over
heard his voice and when she walked out the front door the man saw her and he sped
away.
Anyone with information regarding this suspect is encouraged to call Detective John
Jamison at 326-3921.
