The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect
wanted for credit card fraud and theft. On 4/15/12, the victim was in the 500 block of Jackson Street
when he was robbed of his jewelry, currency and vehicle, a green Chrysler 300. The suspects in the
robbery were three Hispanic males one armed with a handgun and the other two with knifes. The victim
was approached by the suspects who assaulted him then took his property including the car, which was
located abandoned two days later in the 4200 block of East Brundage Lane.
On a subsequent date, the suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photo, used the victims
debit card at a Chase Bank ATM. He appears to be a Hispanic male wearing a dark shirt, dark pants light
colored shoes and a dark baseball cap with the "KC" logo.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect or any of the three suspects involved in the
carjacking is encouraged to call Detective Marcela Garcia at 326-3511.
