The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying
suspects wanted for robbery and assault. On 4/11/12, the two women depicted in the attached
video surveillance photos, were detained for shoplifting by loss prevention at the Best Value
Thrift Store, 1616 Niles. Both women struggled with the employee to maintain the stolen
property and one of them pepper sprayed him and threatened to cut him with a box cutter.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of either suspect is encouraged to call Detective
Scott Miller at 326-3947.
