JUNE 03, 2012
On June 2, 2012 at 8:09 p.m. officers of the Bakersfield Police Department were
dispatched to the 400 Block of Monterey Street regarding a report of a victim of a shooting.
Officers arrived and found an adult male suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
This adult male was transported to a local hospital where he died. The investigation is
continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Bakersfield Police Detective Richard
Dossey at 326-3513.
