HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 074-12RESOLUTION NO. 074- 12 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012 -13. WHEREAS, Section 7910 of the California Government Code provides that each year the governing body of each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit at a regularly scheduled meeting; and WHEREAS, any judicial action or challenge for the 2012 -13 fiscal year shall be commenced within 45 days of the effective date of this Resolution. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield selects the per capita personal income and the population change as growth factors in computing the 2012 -13 appropriation limit. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield does hereby set the appropriations limit for fiscal year 2012 -13 as $301,695,566.
