That it is the intention of the Council of t;!ie City of
a- >ersfielu to order the closing of a portion of certain streets
and an alley in the City of :oatersfield, more Particularly described
and set forth as follovrs:
(a) All that portion of :Slit Street lying betv;een the
southerly line of 16th Street and the northerly
line of the 6tchison, Topeka and 6anta i'e ilailsrray
1,eservation, .-rhich line was formerly the northerly
line of 15th Street.
(b) .4L I1 that portion of Beech Street lying, between
the southerly line of 16th 6treet and the northerly
line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa 2e hail,.-,ay
eservation, which line was formerly the northerly
line of l5th Street.

(e) The alley running, easterly and westerly t -hrough

417 1), includin, said alley across that portion
of Poplar Street abandoned under �-esolution of
Intention No. 431 of the Council of t-1-le City of
-'�akersfield, California, and excludin-,, that
portion of the alley in Block 41.7 C lying westerly
of the westerly line of Ga.,, Street as said westcrly
line of Oa-1, Street was established by deed from
the 1:ern County Land Company to the State of Cali-
fornia and recorded in Book 372 of Deeds at pa.-,-e 62,
.records of *..ern County, California.
.reserving to the City of Bakersfield from the lands above
described a perpetual easement, for utility purposes, 10 feet in width
and 5 feet on either side of a line distant 132 feet southerly from
&nd parallel with the southerly line of loth Street and lyin^ between
the easterly line of 0a'k Street and the westerly line of Pine Street.
(f) All that portion of Cedar Street lyin(� between the
southerly line of Truxtun Avenue and the northerly
line of 16th Street, excepting therefrom a strip of
land 20 feet in width across said Cedar Street,
distant 122 feet southerly from and parallel with
the southerly line of Truxtun livenue.
