A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAIM SFIELD CALIFORNIA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TOI&E TH8 VACITION OF A POR- TION OF 9th STBl IN THE CITY OF BLMMS- FIRLD, CALIFORNIA. The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 19412" being Divi- sion 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1: That it is the intention of the Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, to order the vacation of a portion of 9th Street in the City of Bakersfield, more particularly described as follows: All of 9th Street lying between the westerly line of "S" Street and a line 122 feet west- erly thereof and parallel therewith; also all of the northerly 62.5 feet of that portion of 9th Street lying between the easterly line of "R" Street and a line 122 feet easterly thereof and parallel therewith. All as shown and delineated on Map of the Cit of Bakers- field, recorded November 259 189 in Book l of Maps at pages 13 and 14, Records of Kern County, California. For further particulars as to the proposed vacation, reference is hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield, in the City Hall, Bakersfield, California. $ectio 2: That the hour of 8 o'clock P.M., of the 18th day of November, 1946, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Bakers- field, California, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation may appear before the Council and offer evidence in relation thereto. Sec on J: That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Bakersfield, California, be and he is hereby directed to cause 1. "Notice of Street Vacation" to be posted as required by the said "Street Vacation .Act of 1941," being Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and the Council of said City hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of said act. Section 4% The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be posted on the bulletin board at the City Hall of said City within fifteen (15) days after its passage; I HAY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution of Intention was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 28th day of October, 1946, by the following Vote: AYES: CARNAKIS, CROSS, NORRIS, RYCER, SIEMON, VAROERLEI, VERCAMMEN NOES:.__ L-) Lsr.
