A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD CALIFORNIA DECLARING ITS INTEN-
TION TO MUM THE VACATfON OF A PORTION OF INYO
STREET AND THE ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 75 76 and 77
IN THE CITY OF BAKFRSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, pursuant
to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941," being Divi-
sion 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1: That it is the intention of the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, California, to order the vacation of the follow-
ing portion of a street and certain alleys, to wit:
All that portion of Inyo Street, 80 feet wide, lying
between the northerly line of Sumner Street, (formerly
"I" Street) and the southerly line of Kentucky Street,
(formerly "K" Street) as said streets are shown on
that certain map entitled "Yap of that portion of the
City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, showing East Bakers-
field", recorded January 12, 1889 in Book 1 of Yaps,
pages 15 and 16, Kern County Records.
Also that certain alley, 20 feet wide, through Block 75,
lying between the westerly line of Tulare Street and
the easterly line of Inyo Street as said block, alley
and streets are shown on the aforementioned map entitled,
"Yap of that portion of the City of Bakersfield, County
of Kern, showing East Bakersfield ".
Also that certain alley, 20 feet wide, through Block 76,
lying between the westerly lihe of Inyo Street and the
easterly line of Sonora Street as said block, alley and
streets are shown on the aforementioned map entitled,
"Yap of that portion of the City of Bakersfield, County
of Kern, showing East Bakersfield ".
Also that certain alley, 20 feet wide, through Block ?7,
lying between the westerly line of Sonora Street and the
easterly line of Sacramento Street as said block, alley
and streets are shown on the aforementioned map entitled,
"Yap of that portion of the City of Bakersfield, County
of Kern, showing East Bakersfield."
For further particulars as to the proposed vacation, reference
is hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Bakersfield, in the City Hall, Bakersfield, California.
Section 2: That the hour of 8 o'clock P.M., of the 7th day

of November, 1949, in the Council. Chambers in the City Hall, Bakers-
field, California, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and
place when and where all persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacation may appear before the Council and offer evidence
in relation thereto.
Section 1: That the Superintendent of Streets of the City
of Bakersfield, California, be and he is hereby directed to cause
"Notice of Street Vacation" to be posted as required by the said
"Street Vacation ,Act of 1941," being Division 9 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California; and the Council of said
City hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of said .Act.
Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be posted on the bulletin
board at the City Hall of said City within fifteen (1 5) days after
its passage.

I IMMY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution of Intention
was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of October, 1949,
by the following vote:
