THE LOST RASI-CNSIELC BIDDER.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF B?1.ERS-
FIE'LD, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield, did
in open session on the 12th day of August 1929, publicly open,
examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing cer-
tain street work in said City under and in pursuance of the Im-
provement Act of 1911 and all acts amendatory thereof, the names
of the streets proposed to be improved and the location and char-
acter of said proposed work being described in Resolution of
Intention No. 597 of said Council adopted on the 8th day of July,
1929, which Resolution of Intention is hereby expressly referred
to for further particulars:
NOW THLEFO I BE IT :, OLVRD that the said City Council
hereby rejects all of said trorosals or bids except the next here-
in mentioned. and hereby awards the contra..:t for doing said work
and improvement to the lowest resonsible bidder, to-wit:

The 'pity Clerk: is hereby directed to publish notice of
this ard twice in the Bakersfield Dalifornian, a daily newspaper,
published and circulated in s.rid City, and hereby designated by
the Council for that purpose.

passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the
