as follows:
-..-HERE : ., the Council of the City of Bakersfield, did in
open session on the 3rd day of February, 1930, publicly open, ex-
amine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing certain
street work in said City under and in pursuance of the Improvement
Act of 1911 and all acts amendatory thereof, the names of the
streets proposed to be improved and the location and character of
said proposed work being described in Resolution of Intention 11o.
600 of said Council adopted on the 30th day of December, 1920, ilihich
Resolution of Intention is Hereby expressly referred to for further
particulars:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT 1-Rn.2LVLD that the said City louncil
hereby reject:: all of said proposals or bids except the next here-
in mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing said work
and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit:

The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of
this award twice in the The Bakersfield Californian, a daily news-
paper, published and circulated in said lity, and. hereby designated
by the Council for that purpose.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution as passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the ""-"?
