A RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATIONS FOR PRPPOSED IMPROVEMENT IN STREET
DISTRICT NO. (o o y IN THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, as follows:
That the plans and specifications for the following
work to be done and improvement to be made in the City of Bak-
ersfield, County of Kern, State of California, to-wit:
SECTION 1.
That 17th Street between the easterly line of K Street
and the westerly line of Union Avenue, and L Street between the
northerly line of 17th Street and the southerly line of 19th
Street be improved by the construction and installation thereon
of an ornamental electrolier street lighting system with seventy-
two (72) electrolier standards and all necessary conduit and
appurtenances, including electrolier standards of the Union
Metal Manufacturing Company, design No. 1891, built to obtain a
light center of fifteen (15) feet and ten (10) inches, complete
as described, with Catalogue No. 280382 General Electric Form
12 Novalux Unit, and Catalogue No. 4X569, General Electric I.L.
Transformer. All electroliers are to be set on Portland Cement
concrete foundations as shown on the plan for said work.
Also, that conduit be installed to transformer loca-
tions for connection to current supply lines.
All of said work and improvement is to be done in ac-
cordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the City
Engineer of said City and submitted this /-day of ,
1930, said plans being entitled "PLAN FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF STREET
DISTRICT NO. ‘'D)' ", and said specifications being entitled "SPEC-
IFICATIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF STREET DISTRICT NO. CO o Y ",
be and the same are hereby adopted as andf or the plans and spec-
ifications for doing said work.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
