HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 13-30 RESOLUTION. _ A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 110 13 3 0 IMPROVEMENTS IN STREET DISTRICT NO. 604, IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, TO TIIE LOWEST RSPONSIBLE BIDDER. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERS- FIELD, as follows: WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield, did in open session on the 4th day of August, 1930, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing cer- tain street work in said City under and in pursuance of the Im- provement Act of 1911 and all acts amendatory thereof, the names of the streets proposed to be improved and the location and char- , ac ter of said proposed work being described in Resolution of In- tention No. 604 of said Council adopted on the 30th day of June, 1930, which Resolution of Intention is hereby expressly referred to for further particulars: • N0\ THEREjORE EE IT EESOLV2D that the said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except the next here- in mentioned and hereby awards the contract for d.oin, said work and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: DE!,N & STROBL'E', at the prices named in their bid. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of . this award twice in the The Bakersfield Californian, a daily news- p^per rublished and circulated in said City, and hereby designated by the Council for that purpose. I HE EBY CERTIYY that the foregoing a esolu.tion was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the 4th day of August, 1930, by the following vote: .
