RESOLUTION.
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CLOSING OF THE
ALLEY IN BLOCK 242, KERN, IN THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, AS SAID ALLEY
IS SHOWN ON MAP ENTITLED "MAP OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, KERN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA"
SHOWING EAST BAKERSFIELD, FORMERLY SUMNER,
FILED IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER -
OF KERN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, JANUARY 12,
1889.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did on

to be posted and published for ten (10) days in the manner as re-
quired by law; and
WHEREAS, no objections have been filed against said work

expiration of the time of publication of said notices of the passage
of said Resolution, and the Council of the City of Bakersfield has
acquired jurisdiction to order said work as proposed in said Resolu-
tion to be done;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that said work and
improvement be done as aforesaid and as specifically described in
said Resolution of Intention No. 606, and that said alley in Block
242, Kern, as said alley is shown on that certain map entitled
"MAP OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIEID, KERN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA" showing
East Bakersfield, formerly Sumner, filed in the office of the
County Recorder of Kern County, California, January 12, 1889, be

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
