BE IT RESOLVED BY THE : ",OUT11IL OF `_TiE ;ITy OF BAnRr 1,TELD, as follows; WHEREAS, the Council of the City of B kersfield did on the 7th day of December, 1931, nass its Resolution of Intention No. 612, to order the following work to be done, to-wit- That the alley running easterly end westerly throuft, Block 328, City of Bakersfield, be diminished to a uniform death of twenty (20) feet between the property lines, snd that the re- maining portions of said alley, as it formerly existed, other than the said twenty (20) feet between the property lines, be vacated end closed. The lands necessary and convenient to be abendone! and vacated for said purpose are particularly described as follows; (a) Beginning at a point in the .,vesterly line of M Street 115.5 feet southerly from the sout'_',erly line of 16th Street; thence westerly and parallel with the southerly line of 16th Street to the easterly line of L Street; thence southerly along the easterly line of L Street 6.5 feet; hence eest­rly and parallel with the sout?)erly line of 16th Street to t1re westerly line of N; Street; thence northerly alon`: the westerly line of Ni Street 6.5 feet to the point of beginning. (b) Beginnin` at a point in the westerly line of N Street 115.5 feet northerly from the northerly line of 15th Street; thence westerly and parallel with the northerly line of 15th Street to the easterly line of L Street; thence northerly along the easterly line of L Street 6.5 feet; thence easterly and parallel with the northerly line of 15th Street to the westerly line of M Street; thence south- erly alone, the westerly line of M Street 6.5 feet to the point of be- ginning. For fury. ^er particulars .roferen.ce is hereby made to Res- olution of Intention No. 612, for the above described work, on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield. VVHE1iEAS , the Street Superintendent of the City of Bakers- field did thereupon cause notices of the *passage of said Resolution to be posted and published for ten (10) days in the manner and form as required by law; and ^r1-TLR:G'PS, no objections have been filed a ainst said work and improvement, and more than ten (10) da7s have elapsed after the expiration of the time of pur_lication and posting of said notices of the passe e of said Resolution, and the Council of the City of Bakersfield has acquired jurisdiction to order said work as pro- posed in said Resolution to be done; IT IS i1ERE5Y ORD1?':ir_�, that said work and improvement be done as aforesaid and as specifically described in said Resolution of Intention No. 612, and that the alley running easterly and westerly through Block 1,28, City of Bakersfield, be diminished to a uniform depth of twenty (20) feet between the prop- erty lines.
